/ Commander's intent

THE CRASH
STARTS THE CLOCK.

A reconnaissance aircraft has gone down carrying the location of a sensitive intelligence package. Locate the aircraft, recover what it carried, and turn that lead into control of the final extraction.

The operation advances through three linked phases. Completing each objective determines who receives the next piece of intelligence. Possession can change at any time, and the first team to establish, announce, and hold a compliant landing zone with the case wins.

/ Operational sequence

THREE PHASES.
ONE FIGHT.

The listed times are operational targets. Teams may begin the next phase early by mutual agreement after the objective is reset and both sides are ready.

01

Phase 01

Fallen Eye

A reconnaissance aircraft is down inside the playing area. Both teams receive the same general search area and begin from opposite ends of the field.

Objective
Locate the downed foam aircraft, recover the intelligence carried aboard, and return that intelligence to your command post.
What it unlocks
The winning team receives the exact location of the sensitive intelligence case. The opposing team receives no automatic location update and must recover the information through play or track the team that has it.
02

Phase 02

Sensitive Site

The recovered aircraft has exposed the location of a sensitive field package. The first team arrives with a temporary information advantage; the other is still in the fight.

Objective
Recover the complete intelligence case and return it to your command post. Identical recovery and hit rules apply to both teams.
What it unlocks
The case contains the final tasking: establish a compliant landing zone, announce it over the extraction net, and defend it until pickup.
03

Phase 03

Final Extraction

There is no preselected extraction site. The team holding the intelligence case must select, mark, and secure a compliant simulated landing zone inside the playing area.

Objective
Establish the landing zone, radio its location on the shared extraction net, then hold the marked zone with the complete intelligence case for five uninterrupted minutes.
What it unlocks
The first team to complete a valid five-minute extraction hold wins. The opposing team may monitor the call, contest the zone, recover the case, and establish its own landing zone.

/ Simulated landing zone

SELECT IT.
MARK IT.
CALL IT IN.

These are scenario standards for play, inspired by real landing-zone planning. No aircraft will operate at the event, and satisfying them does not certify a site for aviation use.

01

Minimum size

Mark a landing area at least 60 by 60 feet. All four corners must be visible so either team can judge the boundary.

02

Surface

Choose ground that is reasonably level and firm. The marked area must be free of loose debris, deep mud, and other unstable footing.

03

Clearance

Keep the landing area clear of trees, poles, overhead wires, vehicles, structures, stumps, heavy brush, and large rocks.

04

Approach

Identify one clear approach and departure direction. Mark that direction and include it in the radio call.

05

Placement

The entire landing zone must remain inside the playable boundary and outside command posts, respawns, staging, parking, and spectator or safety areas.

06

Extraction call

Use the shared extraction channel assigned at the briefing. State the team call sign, a recognizable location, the marked approach direction, and any nearby hazard.

/ Event overrides

CASUALTY &
OBJECTIVE RULES.

These mechanics supplement the standing handbook for this operation. The eye-protection rule below is an event-specific exception; friendly fire, hit acknowledgement, engagement distances, and all other safety requirements continue unchanged.

01

Eye protection

Fully sealed eye protection is strongly recommended, but it is not required for this event. Eye protection must still be manufacturer-rated for airsoft or impact use, fit securely, provide complete eye coverage without unsafe gaps, and remain on in active play and chronograph areas. Mesh-only eye protection remains prohibited.

02

Bleed-out

A hit player remains where hit for three minutes. Display a dead rag and self-time the interval. Movement is permitted only to address an immediate safety issue.

03

Medic treatment

Each team designates one medic. To revive a hit player, the medic must secure a visible bandage or armband. The revive is complete as soon as the marker is in place; there is no minimum treatment time. A hit on the medic interrupts treatment.

04

Three hits before respawn

A player may be revived after the first and second hits, using a new visible bandage or armband each time. A third hit sends that player directly to respawn. Remove all revive markers after completing the respawn process.

05

Respawn

After bleeding out, return to your command post, touch the designated respawn marker, and reenter immediately. Opponents may not enter or fire into the marked respawn area.

06

Downed-player communications

A downed player may call for a medic and communicate a safety issue. They may not report enemy positions, direct teammates, or share objective intelligence.

07

Objective handling

The aircraft and case must remain visible. Do not throw, hide, intentionally damage, shoot, or carry a prop out of bounds. A hit carrier gently places the prop at the point of the hit.

08

Phase time limit

Possession decides an incomplete Phase 01 or 02. Phase 03 requires a valid landing zone and the full five-minute extraction hold; possession of the case alone does not win the operation.

09

Proof of completion

For Phase 03, photograph the case inside the marked landing zone and record the extraction call and hold times. The opposing team may challenge any unmet landing-zone requirement.

10

Landing-zone lock

The landing zone becomes fixed when its location is transmitted. Its markers may not be moved, hidden, or expanded after the call.

/ Field notes

BUILT TO RUN
WITHOUT A REFEREE.

Inert aircraft

The downed aircraft is an inert foam scenario prop. It will not fly during gameplay and does not enable any airborne device operation.

Medic identifiers

Each team supplies one visible medic identifier, enough bandages or armbands for revives, and a dead rag for every participant.

Extraction net

A shared extraction channel will be assigned at the briefing. Both teams may monitor it; radio jamming and false extraction calls are prohibited.

/ Packing list

PACK FOR
THE FIELD.

Bring a complete airsoft loadout, then plan for an October day outdoors. Conditions may be cool, wet, or both, and food and water are each participant's responsibility.

01

Airsoft essentials

Bring your field-ready replica, rated eye protection, required face protection, magazines, ammunition, batteries or air, dead rag, sturdy footwear, and any assigned team gear.

02

Cool & wet weather

Pack warm layers, a waterproof outer layer, spare socks, and dry clothing for after play. Choose footwear with dependable traction for wet and uneven ground.

03

Your own water

Arrive with enough drinking water for the full event. A refillable bottle or hydration carrier that can stay with your gear is strongly encouraged.

04

Snacks & food

Bring your own snacks or meal and anything you need to store it safely. Favor compact food you can eat during breaks without slowing the event.
